The Doig House
Gainesville Eye Physicians is located in the historic Doig House. The Doig House, an Italianate style home, was built by James Doig in 1882. A pre-civil war resident, Doig established a foundry and was an inventor. Restored and remodeled, the house has been adapted as an Ophthalmology office and museum. It provides a unique experience for patients and visitors alike.

The Annex

Also on premises are The Annex and The Red Cottage.

The Annex , a one story block home, circa 1950's, has been transformed into a working office that houses Dr. Jenny Petitto's office and our contact lens fitter.

The Red Cottage is where our surgery counselors are located. We also perform minor surgeries and laser procedures in this building. The Red Cottage has been renovated to be compliant with all ADA regulations. (To ensure accessibility and comfort for our patients please make our receptionists aware of any special needs you may have.)
